Church Planting

We are deeply invested in church planting.

Church planting is in our DNA. We began as a church plant in 2012, and we are committed to carrying on that legacy by being involved in the planting of more churches, both locally and around the world.

Local Church Planting

Synergy Kansas logoWe belong to the Synergy Kansas church planting network—a growing group of churches in central Kansas committed to pooling resources and supporting one another toward the goal of planting more healthy churches. Being part of Synergy Kansas allows us to do more Gospel work and have a greater reach for the kingdom than any one of us could on our own.

Our most recent church plant was King's Cross Church, planted in October 2020 in Lyons, KS. We have identified El Dorado as our next target community, and are currently asking God to provide the right church planter to lead that effort.

Our fellow Synergy Kansas churches are Grace Community Church (Newton), Grace Crossing (Moundridge), New Anthem Community Church (Park City), Harvest Bible Church (Ellsworth), King's Cross Church (Lyons), and Goessel Church (Goessel).

International Church Planting

Bolivia

Back in 2018, our church planting efforts went global. By pooling resources, we partnered with our fellow Synergy Kansas churches and Compassion International to plant Iglesia Emanuel outside Santa Cruz, Bolivia.

In addition to providing funds for the initial construction and launch of the church building, we are able to have an on-going connection with the church by sponsoring kids in the community. When the church first launched, our group of churches collectively sponsored over 200 children. In Spring 2023, we collectively sponsored an additional 100+ kids in the community.

Africa Church Planting Initiative

One of our favorite things about being part of the Fellowship of Evangelical Churches is the opportunities it affords us to join international initiatives like the Africa Church Planting Initiative.

In 2023, we began a partnership with the Africa Church Planting Initiative to plant a church in the southern Africa country of Botswana.

We are excited about the opportunity to use the resources God has given to us to invest in planting a sustainable, reproducing rural church in Botswana.
